Professional Development

Preschool Canada is a part of the Continuous Professional Learning

At Eh to Zed Preschool Canada Early Learning Academy, we believe that education is a continuous professional learning obstacle. Each of our regions is a part of a resource development connection, where our educators are supported through different materials and new information supported by other educators and workshops. The head office provides a full training session before the opening of any campus for all employees. We continue our training with the directors and owners quarterly with new resources and content for the campuses.

Preschool Canada's educators are to complete 10 hours (Continuous Professional Learning) throughout the year to ensure that their current philosophy is being implemented throughout the program and attending additional workshops as required by each campus. Our regions provide in-person training, certificates, and new development easily adapted within our campuses.

Our regions' resources are resources that our educators share within our community, children, families, and other educators. By sharing the different resources and building on their knowledge, educators are able to provide the best care for children throughout our programs.

Along with the region's child development resource, Preschool Canada works with the region's Resource consultants to assist children with special needs and provide extra support to create an inclusive environment for all children to support their needs.

In compliance with the region, our campuses must be registered as a Licensed Child Care within the region.

The Resource Development for Child Care Professionals in each region supports our campuses, educators' families, children, and the community by staying up to date with the most current documents (How Does Learning Happen, ELECT document, and the Ministry of Education). Being a part of such a community allows Eh to Zed Preschool Canada Early Learning Academy Campuses to implement the most up-to-date information and learn from one another.

Eh to Zed Preschool Canada Early Learning Academy continuous professional development never ends! We are always working on updating the team with new knowledge.

Peel Region

Child Development Resource Connection Peel

Peel Region Campus is a part of The Child Development Resource Connection Peel (CDRCP). The campus and educators can register for different topics to develop new skills to implement in their class or centre. CDRCP also provides materials that educators can borrow for a specific learning type; for example, educators can borrow larger-sized books to share with children for a new experience during large groups.

Durham Region

Resources for Child Care Professionals

Durham Region is a part of the Resources for Child Care Professionals, where educators have access to the Professional Resource Library for early learning and care professionals. Durham Region provides multiple information about How Does Learning Document? and new resources that share reflective questions and lessons learned from other childcare centres to assist other childcare with the same topics.
