Infants are just beginning to discover the world around them and are constantly exploring and using all of their senses: sight, touch, sound, smell and taste.
We design and set up our infant spaces in ways that are complementary and conducive to an infant’s’ developmental needs to explore. We do this so that the areas are age-appropriate, enjoyable, and of course, safe. To learn more about our ‘Classrooms & Furniture’ click HERE.
A Day in the Life of an Infant at Preschool Canada
We aim to make your child’s transition to Preschool Canada and their first experience in childcare outside of the home enjoyable and comfortable. And we want to make your transition back to work or into preschool as stress-free and easy as possible too.
Our educators work hard in our Infant Program to ensure that your child feels safe and cared for as they begin their time with us and start a new adventure with new faces, places, sounds and smells. We work with your child’s current routine and what they are used to in order to ensure a smooth transition from home to childcare.
We work with parents to implement each child’s unique schedule to ensure that they have ample rest and nutrition and that their schedule is consistent. They will be having so much fun with their new friends, new teachers and taking part in so many new activities (indoors and outside), the day will fly by and before they know it; you’ll be there to pick them up!
