Learning Through Play,
Emergent Curriculum
Our toddler room is bursting with energy, excitement and hustle and bustle as each child continues to explore their interests and learn new things. At Preschool Canada, we adopt both a ‘Learn to Play’ approach and use ‘Emergent Curriculum’ to guide our teachings.
In our Toddler program, children learn new experiences through socialization, self-help skills, language development, fine and gross motor development and hand-eye coordination. Our program support toddlers to build their gross motor skills such as; walking, climbing, running, throwing a ball, and building strength and balance coordination throughout the day. Our educators work with your child and observe their interests and incorporate them into programming to make their experience more personalized, engaging and to create positive relationships with learning.
Other areas that are incorporated and focused on in the Toddler Program:
All of these learning skills are strategically embedded into daily routines and interesting activities so that learning is positive and enjoyable.
